The students will be able to connect how the Industrial Revolution and Imperialism led to WWI. Students will examine advancements in technology, especially with regards to military warfare, alliances, nationalism, sea supremacy and colonialism and analyze why they were the major factors leading to war. Students will also explore the Russian Revolution and the fall of the czarist system being replaced by communism and the soviet model.
